Job Description – Executive (ISO Standards: HSE, EMS, Sustainability)

Role Summary:
The Executive will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards related to Health & Safety (ISO 45001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001), and Sustainability practices. The role focuses on strengthening the manufacturing units management systems through audits, documentation, continuous improvement, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and related sustainability management systems.
- Prepare, update, and maintain documentation, including manuals, procedures, SOPs, and audit reports.
- Conduct internal audits, gap assessments, and follow ups on corrective actions.
- Support external certification and surveillance audits.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to EHS and sustainability.
- Assist in hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRA), and emergency response planning.
- Collaborate with departments for training, compliance awareness, and incident reporting.
- Support initiatives for energy saving, waste reduction/control.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or MBA related field.
- Certification or training in ISO 45001, ISO 14001; knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 is a plus.
- 0-3 years’ experience in a QA, EHS, or compliance role within a manufacturing setup.
- Good knowledge of EHS legal requirements and industrial best practices.
- Ability to coordinate across departments and lead improvement initiatives.
