We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Social Science / Civic Teacher to join our faculty and teach students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics) and Civics for students from primary to 10th levels.
- Develop age-appropriate learning materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes inquiry, discussion, critical thinking, and a respect for different viewpoints.
- Use a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and capabilities of each student.
- Prepare students for exams and help them develop broader life skills like civic sense, ethics, and social responsibility.
- Organize and guide activities, field trips, debates, and community projects related to social studies and civic engagement.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, school leadership, and parents to support student progress and school initiatives.
- Continuously assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and behavior of students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science, History, Political Science, Geography, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree is preferred.
- Proven experience teaching Social Science/Civics at multiple grade levels is an advantage.
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students of all age groups.
- Creativity, patience, and a commitment to nurturing a positive learning environment.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital teaching tools.
