Rotary Ambala Cancer and General Hospital
We at mdi, have always had a vision for a better tomorrow for the society and have made sincere efforts towards bringing a change. We understand our responsibilities and believe that a small step today can become a giant leap in the future.
Our Chairman, Dr. Jai Dev, a veteran Rotarian, has been the inspiration in bringing this project alive. His constant contribution, support and devotion in terms of both time and money, resulted in converting this vision into a reality.
Ambala, a small town in Haryana (India), had a need for a facility which could bridge the gap between those who can afford a treatment to a medical problem and those who could not. After understanding the need, Rotary Ambala Cancer and General Hospital was born in 2005 by humble donations of 70 plus members of the Rotary Club, Ambala. Initially, the plan was to set up a Diagnostic Center for Cancer Patients but today the initiative has come a long way. The hospital is the solution between non-functional government civil hospitals and the top end 5-star Hospitals. It provides quality, affordable and specialized healthcare to the masses in a small city.
