We offer services for selection of the most suitable combination of pre-filters with the desired final filter and subsequently the minimum effective filtration area required to achieve the desired throughput.

Filter Sizing and Selection is dependent on a number of factors such as minimum desired flow rate, fluid viscosity, temperature etc. However, the contamination profile (nature and quantum of contaminants) of the fluid to be filtered defines its interface with the filter, in other words the plugging mechanism. This in turn defines the throughput one can achieve from a given filter area for the fluid in question. We at MDI, offer a deep understanding of this behavior and our expertise to help define not only the right sized filtration system but also the right combination of pre-filters to achieve desired/optimum throughputs.
