Preserving Musical Heritage
MDI is proud to support Sangeetalok, an NGO dedicated to promoting and preserving Indian classical music. This partnership reflects our unwavering commitment to enriching society and honouring India’s rich cultural traditions.
For over 50 years, Sangeetalok has played a vital role in nurturing the cultural fabric of Ambala, bringing globally acclaimed vocalists and instrumentalists to local audiences. Its annual music festival has become a deeply rooted tradition—celebrated for offering the community an immersive experience of live classical performances.
The event’s stature is reflected in the recognition it has received from legendary maestros such as Pt. Jasraj, Pt. Kumar Gandharv, Smt. Kishori Amonkar, Pt. Buddhaditya Mukherjee, Ustad Zakir Hussain, and Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia.
